Give Me Shelter, Inc. is a (501.c3) non profit organization that helps families in our community who are in need. Currently we are working on a project which involves rehabbing a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home in the Cleveland area. The home was severely vandalized and stripped down to the studs in some areas. It is our intention to put the home back together to give a needy family an opportunity to get their lives back on track enabling them to become functioning members of our community
It is exciting to announce that we will be working with The Gospel House Church located in Walton Hills, Ohio. The Gospel House has been involved with many shelters and ministries in the community for several years and will locate a family to place in the unit. Give Me Shelter; Inc. will be overseeing and managing the project.
After rehabbing the unit, Give Me Shelter, Inc. is offering 6 months of free rent with all utilities paid enabling the family time to get back on their feet. The rent will be discounted at $600.00 a month thereafter. Although Give Me Shelter, Inc. will be handling the entire project we find it necessary to ask for assistance from the community by accepting donations such as sinks, toilets, light fixtures, electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, drywall, paint carpeting, roofing materials, etc…Monetary donations will help cover labor expenses and necessary permits that will need to be pulled. All donations are tax deductible.

Our goal is to start the project within the next few weeks, hoping for the project to be completed by the end of June 2009.

Give Me Shelter Mission Statement
Give Me Shelter helps needy families and individuals in the community with food, clothing, housing and necessities such as household goods, furniture, etc... Our goal is to assist these families and or individuals who have experienced a difficult time due to natural disasters, drug and alcohol abuse or domestic violence abuse and are looking to reestablish them selves and their families to get back on their feet and move forward so they may rebuild and become productive members of our communities.
